Drew McIntyre is a former WWE Champion in his second stint with the company. McIntyre was originally released in 2014 but was later rehired on their NXT brand and is also a former NXT Champion.
McIntyre has dominated the main roster in recent years after winning the 2020 Royal Rumble match and later going on to defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship in his last WWE appearance at WrestleMania 36. McIntyre went on to lose the Championship to Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell before reclaiming it again.
