The Miz has accomplished a lot in WWE. He has won countless titles, including a double Grand Slam. The A-Lister carved out a Hall of Fame-level career, through his immense charisma as a heel. He is one of the greatest superstars to ever garner heel heat from the fans.

However, that brilliance does not translate over when he is a babyface. The Miz has had two year-long spells as a good guy in the company. Neither run worked well, with a heel turn being necessary on both occasions.

He was tipped to succeed as a hero, particularly during his second shot at doing so in 2019. WWE fans respected him for being an excellent heel, while he himself became a more likable figure. However, his babyface run was doomed following a defeat to Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 35.

Since then, it has been clear how much more comfortable The Miz is as a villain. Whether he remains on the goofy side or becomes a more serious player, The Awesome One must stay heel until the end of his WWE career.

Even his Hall of Fame speech should ideally be a heel promo. Wouldn't that be quite something?
