#2 Edge
Edge made an emotional return to the ring back in January at the annual Royal Rumble which was the first appearance that The Rated-R Superstar had made in a WWE ring for almost a decade.
Edge was told back in 2011 that he had to retire from the business because he had cervical spinal stenosis. Over the past nine years, the former 11-time Champion has managed to rest his neck enough that his doctors could clear him to make a shock return.

Edge was once seen as one of the greatest heels in WWE history given his Rated-R Superstar persona but the story that has led to his WWE return could mean that he may never be able to be the heel again.
The former Champion was recently in a feud with Randy Orton where he was able to play a believable underdog. Given the depth of the WWE roster at present and the fact that he's been away from the business for so long, it could be hard for Edge to transform back into The Rated-R Superstar for the current generation.
