He is so natural in his role that it seems that he is about to kill his opponent. His backstage segment called "Night Night AJ" in the most recent episode of SmackDown is probably the best promo of the century.

His in-ring work compliments his promos really well too. He is a complete wrestler. His on-going feud with AJ Styles is the best thing happening in WWE right now. Even last year he had great feuds with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar and this is the reason why he is the best heel of the company right now.
