#1. Pete Dunne had a better win/loss record than WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in 2020
It was an interesting year for WWE in 2020 since the company was forced to make several changes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pete Dunne was one of the stars who was forced to miss several months of WWE TV. Dunne relinquished his NXT Tag Team Championship because he was stuck in the United Kingdom, forcing Pete Dunne to find a new partner.
Fellow British star Drew McIntyre won the Royal Rumble and went on to main event WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar last year. The star won the WWE Championship for the first time, lost it to Randy Orton, and then quickly reclaimed it from Orton.
Despite the success of McIntyre last year, it's interesting to note that according to Cagematch.net, Pete Dunne had a better winning percentage than McIntyre for the year.
McIntyre won 47 of his 54 matches, giving him an impressive 87% winning percentage. However, Dunne wrestled 27 matches and was able to win 24 of them, giving him a slightly higher 88% winning percentage.
