It would be offensive if I left Sami Zayn out of this list. But the main reason why he is #1 here is his fearlessness that takes him a step ahead of everyone else in the race. Zayn can be brutal in his clapbacks while calling the in-ring action, as has been seen on several occasions in the past.

Currently, Zayn is seen accompanying the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown as the latter’s manager/hype man. Needless to say, he has been doing a fantastic job in this role and has certainly been able to draw a lot more attention towards Nakamura on the Blue brand.

We are not sure when Zayn will return to regular in-ring action but for now at least, he would make for an excellent commentator in WWE. As I mentioned before, he never shies away from standing up for himself and speaking the truth, no matter how difficult it could be for the listener to digest, making him a perfect fit for the commentary team.

Her views on pro wrestling evolved as she grew older and understood the intricacies of the business. Her favorite wrestler is Finn Balor due to his persistence.
When she is not working as a writer, Shruti loves to read, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and let Manchester City dictate her weekend plans.
