#4 Zack Ryder
At last year’s WrestleMania, Zack Ryder finally had his Mania moment when he captured the Intercontinental Title in a ladder match. Ryder was ecstatic just to have his music played at Mania for the first time in his career, so you can only imagine what the high-profile win meant to him.
However, as has been the story for most of Zack’s career, WWE didn’t capitalise on this momentum as he lost the championship to The Miz the following night on Raw and abruptly began to drop back down the card.
The same happened at WrestleMania 28 when Ryder had plenty of momentum behind him thanks to the ‘Ryder revolution’, but instead of being placed in a meaningful match, Zack was part of Team Teddy in a match against Team Johnny and received a low-blow from Eve Torres after the match.
It’s a common opinion amongst fans that Zack Ryder has deserved more from WWE for his hard work and dedication to the company over the years, but it is a very real possibility that Ryder’s moment at last year’s Mania may have been the peak of his career.
