Previous entry John Cena and Brock Lesnar actually broke into the WWE scene at the same time and were even a part of the same class in OVW. Even though they started together and still wrestle today, their paths from that point to now have been very different.

While Cena has remained a constant in WWE, The Beast Incarnate left for eight years to explore other ventures. Lesnar had a crack at becoming a football player and also enjoyed a very successful spell as a UFC star. When he returned to WWE in 2012 though it was clear that he hadn't been forgotten.

Cena was in the ring the night after Wrestlemania XXVIII and the fans were chanting Lesnar's name. Ever since then WWE has quite rightly treated him as their big ticket item. They can rest assured that any show Brock is advertised to appear at will sell a lot of tickets.
