#1 Big E
Speaking of big stars on SmackDown, there is an absolute megastar lying in wait. Somebody who possesses the size, the strength, the charisma, and the fan support to become Universal Champion. Surely, Big E's time has to be coming soon.
If KofiMania taught us anything, it is that the New Day can enter a main event program without ever needing to break up. Once they are no longer the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, WWE should consider giving Big E a singles opportunity.

A couple of weeks ago, the former NXT Champion showed what he can do on his own when he won the SmackDown tag titles in a regular triple threat match. Big E has also shown some incredible fire on several occasions, particularly when he destroyed Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules 2019.
Kofi Kingston got his run as the WWE Champion, but now it is time for WWE to push his tag team partner. Big E has been ready for years, and it will be interesting to see how well a singles run for him would go.
The company definitely has trust in him, as shown by the New Day being one of the most entertaining acts on WWE for the last five years. What works so well is that he is excellent at being both, funny and serious as a character. They should give Big E the ball and let him run with it.
Best case, he soars high and becomes the world champion. Worst case, it doesn't go so well and he remains a part of the most successful tag team in recent WWE history.
