Although their immediate WWE future is unclear, after they reportedly asked for their release from the company recently, if Primo & Epico do remain in WWE then it would be in their best interests to stay as a team.
It does feel at times that it just isn’t going to happen for The Colóns. They have had multiple gimmicks during their tenure, most notably as The Shining Stars and Los Matadores, yet each incarnation has left a lot to be desired.
However, people can’t deny that they are talented when it comes to their in-ring capabilities and maybe something will eventually click for them.
Coming from the legendary Colón family from Puerto Rico, wrestling is in their blood and more was expected from them when they arrived in WWE, especially after the relatively successful run of Primo’s brother and Epico’s cousin, Carlito.
