#2. Bayley underwent surgery and may return soon
Bayley was last seen in WWE back in July. She was booked in for a match against Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women's Championship when the unfortunate incident happened.
She was injured at the Performance Center and underwent surgery for a torn ACL. The former Women's Champion was announced to stay away from the action for roughly nine months.
In an Instagram Live chat with her fans, she responded to one of the questions about her injury:
“So, my knee is doing great, my leg's doing great, my ankle's doing great, my shin is doing great, my hip is doing great, my mind is doing great... so, I mean it's only a matter of time. I'm not gonna tell you when, and I don't want all these idiots watching to know when, but I'm gonna be coming back soon, maybe, you know... you better be ready, better be ready,” said Bayley.
She could return to the Royal Rumble and spice up the storylines in the women's division.
#1. Drew McIntyre was injured at WWE Day 1
Rather than squaring off against Happy Corbin, McIntyre was booked for a match against Madcap Moss on Day 1. As expected, the former WWE Champion stood tall after the brawl.
However, Corbin and Moss ambushed The Scottish Psychopath later that night. The promotion tweeted about McIntyre's medical status and his unavailability to participate in further events.
The estimated time of his return isn't known, and his participation in Royal Rumble can't be determined as of this writing.
