#3. Rollins could win the Royal Rumble for the second time in his WWE career
Owens is a solid and trusted veteran of WWE. While he can always be counted on to deliver, he hasn't been booked at the same level as Rollins. So even though Owens is one of the most complete stars in the promotion, Rollins has more of a shot to win the 2022 Royal Rumble.
In terms of plausible winners, Rollins joins Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Big E, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton. McIntyre, Rollins, and Orton have already won a Royal Rumble, so it would be nice to see someone new win this year.
Those in charge only take chances on certain stars once in a while. McIntyre joined the main event scene in 2020. Big E did so after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase last year. He has reverted to losing more lately after dropping his Championship.
The bookers could play it safe and have a former winner outlast 29 other stars. Rollins has a good chance to do so again, especially if he is unsuccessful in dethroning Reigns.
