#4. Seth Rollins could remain in a rivalry with Edge following WWE SummerSlam
Edge handed Seth Rollins a convincing defeat at WWE SummerSlam. The Drip King put up a great fight against The Rated-R Superstar but failed to put him down after a long match.
Rollins had a similar rivalry against Cesaro not too long ago and continued to target The Swiss Superman after losing to him. He could do the same following SummerSlam and could attack Edge once again on SmackDown to continue the rivalry.

The two men have already delivered a dream match for the fans. However, there is no clear direction for them following SummerSlam. By continuing the rivalry, WWE could keep the two superstars away from the top championship scene for some time before having one of them go after the Universal Championship.
#3. Seth Rollins could get in a rivalry with Big E following his loss at WWE SummerSlam
Seth Rollins had his eyes on the Universal Championship picture when he got into a rivalry with Edge for WWE SummerSlam. The Drip King will be looking for another way to get into the top title picture following his defeat.
Big E is the only man on WWE SmackDown who has a guaranteed title shot to his name. Seth Rollins could turn his focus to the Money in the Bank briefcase winner in the weeks following SmackDown.
The Messiah could target Big E and his Money in the Bank contract on SmackDown and could have a rivalry with him for the briefcase. This will keep Big E and Rollins busy for some time and keep the New Day member away from the Universal Championship scene until he's ready to cash-in.
