Seth Rollins returned to SmackDown this past week and it was made clear that there is no talent in the locker room who supports him or his vision at present.
Rollins hoped that because Cesaro stayed behind after everyone else had left, this meant that the two men could work together in future, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
After Seth Rollins assaulted Cesaro, Daniel Bryan made the save because he needed his tag team partner to be at full-fitness for their match later in the night and because Cesaro earned his respect the week before.
It would be interesting to see if Cesaro and Bryan continue to team together in the coming weeks in the hopes of overcoming this new version of Rollins. It could be entertaining to see Rollins head backstage and look for a partner to take on the duo this coming week on SmackDown, since it's already been made clear that he has no friends backstage.
