It's been a long time coming since World champions needed to change brands. Seth Rollins to SmackDown and AJ Styles to RAW has always seemed like the inevitable trade, but for whatever reason, WWE decided that Styles was more suitable to SmackDown while Rollins was to RAW.

With Seth Rollins officially winning the Universal Championship, it's not only the first time in nearly three years that he's winning a World Championship, but it also means that a big change could be coming.
The SmackDown move to FOX this October is set to be a major game changer and while Roman Reigns would be the obvious pick for WWE to chose to move to SmackDown, we may very well see Rollins jump to the blue brand while Kofi Kingston jumps over to RAW.
It would be a fresh change and Rollins feels like he's long overdue for a brand switch. It would certainly help him get fresher opponents.
