#1 Revised role of the authority
The manner in which the ‘authority’ functions on RAW and SmackDown is completely different from the way it functions on NXT.
On the Red and the Blue brand, we often see the authority figures interfering in storylines that see an unexpected Superstar rising through the ranks – mainly with the objective of adding obstacles to their path.

Under Triple H, however, the role of authority is minimized to booking matches. Taking William Regal, the General Manager of NXT, for example. He has been in this role for the last six years and yet, he only comes out when he needs to announce a match to settle a brawl.
This allows the Superstars to continue with the momentum that they have gained without compromising with the credibility of those sitting behind the curtain, calling the shots.
Of course, the interference from the authorities makes for entertaining angles but overusing that angle has led to predictable results in the past.
This will be one of the biggest changes in WWE when Triple H takes over, allowing the creative to save the interferences from the bosses for times when there appears to be no legit contender.
