Some fans probably feel that Eddie Edwards might've dropped in the pecking order with IMPACT Wrestling. That was until Edwards spectacularly regained the IMPACT World Championship at Slammviersary 2020.
Eddie Edwards is a veteran. Over the years, he has competed all around the globe for some of the notable promotions in the world. The reigning IMPACT World Champion has held titles for Ring of Honor and he was also the GHC Heavyweight Champion for Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Now, Kenny Omega has also famously worked in Japan and the US. One half of the reigning AEW Tag Team Champions has gained experience in Japan before he eventually transitioned to an American style of professional wrestling.
Omega and Edwards also have a ton of experience from their time on the independent circuit. Given the development that the two men have undergone through the years, a match between modern-day Kenny Omega and Eddie Edwards would be a sight to behold.
