This match was the one that was rumored to be taking place at the Royal Rumble 2017.‘The Phenomenal One’ has publically admitted his desire of fighting the ‘Heart Break Kid’ on multiple occasions.

WWE might have actually thought of carrying forward with the matchup. This was, however, scrapped due to Shawn Michaels’ decision of not coming out of the retirement.

Now that HBK has come out of retirement because of the big paycheck from Saudi Arabia and that The Undertaker v/s Shawn Michaels storyline has seemingly ended, this will work as the prefect feud for both the men involved.

As Mania is still a long time away, a heel turn from Styles and a Royal Rumble showdown between both men would be the perfect way to kick this feud off.
