It was a dream match that we so wanted to tick off. Eddie Guerrero vs. AJ Styles would have been an instant classic. It would have been a wrestling match ride that we would never forget.

At the time of Eddie's passing, AJ Styles was making a name for himself in IMPACT Wrestling. There was never an opportunity for the two to cross paths. It would have torn the house down from any venue it was contested in.

AJ Styles revealed on a Twitch stream that Eddie Guerrero would have been his 'dream' match:

"Eddie Guerrero - I think it would be fun to wrestle him. I think that would have been fun to see how these guys do it, and see if it's the same. And I feel like, at this point in my career, it would probably be pretty close to the same kinds of things they were thinking. The great thing about those guys is that they were able to work really good guys a lot. You're talking about Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit? They were already wrestling in Japan before they ever made it to WCW and went to the WWE. So, they had access to top talent right from the get go." (H/T Wrestling Inc)

Eddie Guerrero vs. AJ Styles will make headlines and will no doubt be off the scale when it comes to any match ratings. If only we could rewind back to 2004/2005 and put them in the same company.
