We cannot possibly talk about dream matches involving Edge without paying some form of homage to his tag-team roots. Edge and Christian laid the foundations for their illustrious careers by teaming with one another as one of the greatest teams to ever do it.

And as a result, a reunion clash with one of the best tag teams in the world would be too tantalizing not to deliver. Going back to the initial point I made with the Adam Cole dream match, there is a storyline for this clash as well.

Edge could easily reunite with Christian to take on The Elite faction and as a result produce a moment of professional wrestling history as two of the greatest tag teams of all time step into the ring to face one another.

This seems a little too easy doesn't it? The best bout-machine is a regular in the upper echelon of wrestling, with stellar bouts against the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Kota Ibushi.

In the current wrestling climate, top talent both inside and outside of WWE pine for an opportunity to step into the squared circle with the current AEW World Champion, and you would expect no different from a talent like Edge.

Edge has cemented himself as one of the best in-ring workers of all-time, and Kenny Omega is arguably the greatest worker in the world at this current time. We have already been treated to stellar matches between Christian and Omega and as I have extensively mentioned previously, there is a storyline and history to accompany the dream match.

Should we ever see Edge outside of WWE, two of the greatest in-ring storytellers will have to clash in a dream pro-wrestling clinic for the ages.
