If Okada is the Batman of NJPW, then Tetsuya Naito is almost certainly The Joker. He possesses the kind of infectious personality that is hard to come by sometimes in Japanese wrestling, and he’s almost viewed as the cool alternative to Okada amongst New Japan fans.
Then, on the WWE side of things, you’ve got Seth Rollins, who has spent the last few weeks carving out great match after great match en route to becoming the most impressive performer in the company.
This match would test the wit and ring psychology of Naito against the acrobatic nature of Rollins, and the end result would likely be a modern day masterpiece.
Both men know how to pull a big-time match out of the bag when it matters the most, and in the present day, there aren’t too many Superstars who can claim that.
