5 dream matches for Ronda Rousey in WWE 

Ronda Rousey has finally made her long awaited debut on the WWE roster and there are lots of options for her first match. Here we rank five matches we would love to see later down the road.

I have left Charlotte Flair out of this list as it seems very likely these two will be clashing, perhaps at WrestleMania, and I do not want to go for anything too predictable.

#5 Nia Jax

Could Ronda be the one to stop Jax?

Nia Jax has been booked as a real force in the women's division, especially as it required multiple superstars to eliminate her from the Rumble match.

If Jax continues to be booked correctly, it will take someone special to finally take her out, and Ronda could be the one to do it. It would also create a great visual to see Ronda manage to Judo throw Jax with ease, and it would put Rousey over, similar to how the Big Show did John Cena at WrestleMania 20.

#4 Shayna Baszler

Could these former UFC stars clash in a whole new world?

The clash of former MMA fighters and Four Horsewomen teammates could be a great match up when both women have had time to perfect their craft in sports entertainment.

Shayna has been booked as the bully of NXT and the 'Queen of Spades' has shown no mercy to her opponents so far.

Perhaps when she comes to the main roster she can continue down this path with her former friend Rousey trying to make her see the error in her ways. This could lead to a hard-hitting clash between two superstars who would have no problem really hurting each other to create an epic match.

#3 Alexa Bliss

Would Bliss know how to push Ronda's buttons?

Alexa Bliss has been a real trailblazer since arriving on the main roster and many people would not have expected it.

She was the first woman to win both the Raw and Smackdown Women's titles and has really taken on all comers to keep hold of the gold. Although it would be a real clash of styles, it would be great to see Bliss really pushed to her in-ring limit by the former UFC fighter.

Bliss is also one of the best talkers in the WWE, so the promos leading up to the match would be must see TV. Bliss would probably even bring up Ronda's losses in UFC, which really is a touchy subject, and could generate big heat.

#2 Asuka

Is Ronda ready for Asuka?

Asuka and Ronda are both being built up as unstoppable forces and it feels like they will have to meet each other on way or another.

A great way to go with this one would be to keep both women undefeated until WrestleMania 35 where they could wrestle a streak vs streak match. This would be must watch TV as the fans would genuinely not know which way it is going to go with one woman getting a massive rub from the win.

They are both hard hitters so the match would be very intense, and if Rousey learns the craft well enough, could be one of the best women's matches of all time.

Would the fans be 'Strtusfied' by Ronda vs Stratus?

Trish made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble and her in-ring work was stellar. This was also on the same night that Ronda made her debut in the WWE. Is this just coincidence?

Rousey represents a new breed of WWE women's superstar, and much like Lesnar, she is a legit fighter.

Stratus is without doubt one of the pioneers of women's wrestling, and if told correctly, the story here could be brilliant. Trish proved that she can still go in the ring and the story of old school vs new school could be too good for the WWE to pass up.
