A recent string of rumours suggests that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar could be considering leaving WWE and signing for All Elite Wrestling. However, AEW fans, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I have to reiterate at how unlikely Lesnar signing for AEW is.
WWE is reportedly so concerned by the departure of Dean Ambrose that they're actively trying to re-sign every Superstar whose contract is coming up soon because they don't want their stars to leave for the competition.
Brock Lesnar is easily one of the most protected Superstars in WWE history and he has a WWE huge contract which also comes with limited dates. There's no way WWE and Vince McMahon would make Lesnar go and it's most likely that Brock could use these rumours to his benefit and get himself a new contract for even more money.

Dave Meltzer also spoke about how unlikely Vince McMahon letting Lesnar go is on Wrestling Observer Radio:
“I believe that Vince will pay anything not to lose Brock because we’ve seen it with UFC and I think it will be even stronger with AEW. Brock’s number is so high but who knows? Who knows, it would be a coup. Put it this way, Chris Jericho wants a match with Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho has a lot of sway. That doesn’t mean a deal is gonna be done that’s a stupid deal but who knows.”
Despite Brock Lesnar leaving the WWE being very unlikely, let's take a stab at fantasy booking and look at 5 dream matches for 'The Beast' in AEW:
#5 Jungle Boy
If you've never seen 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry's work you really need to check it out. He's made waves on the independent circuit over the last couple of years before AEW snapped him up.
Perry has everything needed to be a great underdog babyface and what better way for that than a short match against 'The Beast'. Lesnar has had some of his most entertaining matches against smaller guys and a match could establish Jungle Boy as one of All Elite's top underdogs.
#4 Cody
Ever since Cody left the WWE, he's become one of the hottest stars in pro wrestling. He had one of the best years of his career in 2018 and starts in 2019 as one of the executive VPs of All Elite Wrestling.
If All Elite Wrestling does somehow manage to sign Brock Lesnar, he has to face Cody eventually. Lesnar has never faced off against this non-WWE version of Cody and there's no reason why this match wouldn't be a blast.
AEW also has a potentially great storyline to use for this match. Brock Lesnar comes in as the big shark from WWE and runs down All Elite Wrestling only for Cody to step up and challenge The Beast Incarnate and defend All Elite Wrestling. It's a classic babyface vs heel story and could be a great program for both men.
#3 Chris Jericho
Yes, I know we've seen Chris Jericho versus Brock Lesnar in the WWE but that doesn't mean that this won't be a dream match.
Chris Jericho reinvented himself after leaving WWE for New Japan Pro Wrestling and we've never seen this version of Chris Jericho face Brock Lesnar. Add to that the fact that Jericho and Lesnar won't be restricted by WWE's styles and this could be something truly special.
We know that Chris Jericho is still at the top of his game and can still hang with some of the best wrestlers in the world so keeping up with Brock Lesnar in the ring should not be an issue.
As the veteran Jericho would also not need to go over and this could be a great first match for Lesnar in AEW.
Jericho recently posted the following Tweet aimed at Brock Lesnar:
"Intimidation and fear goes a LONG way in our business guys. But let’s be honest, @BrockLesnar needs to pull up his pants and lose the gut... the dream is over dude. I don’t play by the script... @wwe @AEWrestling"
#2 PAC
I've been a huge fan of PAC aka Neville since I first saw him wrestle in NXT. Despite winning the NXT Championship and being a former NXT Champion, Neville never really got a fair shake on the main roster and it was clear WWE only saw him as a mid-carder. This could have been justified after he first got called up because he wasn't great on the mic and his character work wasn' that strong.
However, when he returned as a heel on 205 Live, Neville showed us that he had it all but WWE took no notice, causing Neville to walk away from the company.
After the match Brock Lesnar and Finn Balor had at the WWE Royal Rumble, I'd love to see him face PAC if he does indeed sign for All Elite Wrestling. One thing is for sure, PAC won't back down from 'The Beast'.
#1 Kenny Omega
This is the big one, the dream match, the one everyone wants to see. Yes, I know that Kenny Omega hasn't officially signed with AEW yet but it's his most likely destination so he still makes this list.
Omega vs Lesnar could be the blockbuster match that AEW needs to establish themselves as real competition to WWE. It wouldn't just be amazing for the hardcore fans but a match of that calibre would definitely make more casual wrestling and WWE fans take notice.
Kenny Omega is one of the best wrestlers in the world and arguably the top guy not signed to WWE right now while Brock Lesnar is one of the most recognisable names in the history of WWE.
This match would not only be great for the fans and those watching, but it would definitely do great business too.
