Well, we've finally seen what she's made of.
Months of speculation and build up finally culminated in Ronda Rousey making her WWE in-ring debut on the 'Grandest Stage of Them All', against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, flanked by fellow Olympian Kurt Angle.
Months of pressure, a plethora of sceptics and in the end, she killed it.
Ronda Rousey exceeded all expectations and had, arguably, the match of the night at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
So, who will we see the UFC star face next?
The word "dream match" is thrown about frequently these days - but here are five ladies who could step in the ring with Rousey and that term would not be an overstatement in the slightest.
#5 Asuka
There had been talk that, had she stayed undefeated, Asuka would have been the ultimate opponent for Ronda Rousey.
As expected, it looks like Ronda Rousey's finishing move in WWE will be the Armbar she used so effectively in UFC. With Asuka also being known to use the move to finish off her opponents, there could be some great storytelling in this match with both women struggling to lock in the move to try and finish off the other.
But off the mat, the thing that would make this bout a must-see, is that both women are incredibly hard hitters. If these two women went toe-to-toe, you can bet the world would watch anxiously as both women exchanged punches, chops and kicks.
While many thought Rousey may be the lady to end the streak, the pressure is off now that Asuka has an L to her name. But that doesn't mean the match would be any less of a spectacle, and you can bet this one will happen in the future with both women looking to have a huge future in WWE.
#4 Nia Jax
Though Ronda Rousey isn't the biggest woman on the planet, there's no question she's one of the most dangerous.
While there aren't many people who can match Ronda Rousey for strength or toughness, Nia Jax would provide an incredibly unique challenge for The Rowdy One.
The Raw Women's Champion has come leaps and bounds since debuting in WWE - and both of these women can be incredibly intimidating in their own way.
The Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss match at WrestleMania was very watchable and Asuka has faced off against Nia Jax on several occasions. But a match between Rousey and Nia Jax would be an all-out slugfest and a battle of strength for the ages.
The storytelling these women could portray in this match would be absolutely fantastic.
#3 Sonya Deville
While Sonya Deville is still in the infancy of her main roster career, this one is an absolute no-brainer. In fact, Sonya Deville is one of only five female WWE Superstars who have been in the ring with Ronda Rousey. While it didn't go exactly to plan, Deville's Absolution partner Mandy Rose took the brunt of the beating, with Sonya leaving the ring with unfinished business in the air, rather than Ronda decimating the former NXT star.
The tough striking MMA style of Deville makes this one of the most exciting potential battles Rousey could have in the future, and if WWE chooses to split Absolution and build Deville as a singles star, the path these dangerous women take in the future will definitely be worth watching.
#2 Shayna Baszler
While Ronda Rousey is by far the biggest name to make the switch from UFC to WWE, one woman made that same journey before her - and she's now the NXT Women's Champion.
Rousey is learning how to ply her craft in WWE in front of the world, but Shayna Baszler has been honing her craft between the yellow ropes after an immensely impressive showing in the Mae Young Classic, where even Rousey was in the crowd.
When Baszler won the NXT Women's Championship at TakeOver, Rousey was there to congratulate her backstage. While WWE is positioning Rousey as a face, the narrative is already there for a jealous Baszler to turn on her friend and complain about the opportunities afforded to her on name value alone.
What a story this would be!
#1 Charlotte
Apologies for being blatantly obvious, but there was never going to be anyone else in the number one slot on a list of dream opponents for Ronda Rousey.
This one has been building for a long time and it looks like the culmination may come at WrestleMania 35, with Rousey and Flair perhaps even being the first two females to ever main event WrestleMania!
Both women could have their fellow Horsewomen ringside, and one more interesting angle to the match is the influence on each woman of two WWE Legends, Ric Flair and Rowdy Roddy Piper. If this one main events WrestleMania, I doubt there will be many complaints, and the entrances of both women will be enough to hype the match, never mind the build-up.
The mere announcement of this one would have the eyes of the world firmly fixed on the square circle. The story is already there as both women have even been face to face in a WWE setting before, as can be seen in the video below. This one is going to happen, and I'm all in for it when it does!
