While Ronda Rousey is by far the biggest name to make the switch from UFC to WWE, one woman made that same journey before her - and she's now the NXT Women's Champion.
Rousey is learning how to ply her craft in WWE in front of the world, but Shayna Baszler has been honing her craft between the yellow ropes after an immensely impressive showing in the Mae Young Classic, where even Rousey was in the crowd.
When Baszler won the NXT Women's Championship at TakeOver, Rousey was there to congratulate her backstage. While WWE is positioning Rousey as a face, the narrative is already there for a jealous Baszler to turn on her friend and complain about the opportunities afforded to her on name value alone.
What a story this would be!
