After Reigns, Seth could be in line to gain from a feud against Cena

Seth Rollins is one of the best wrestler and in-ring performer in the WWE today. The two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion defeated Triple H at WrestleMania earlier this year but plans for him did not involve a title shot post that WrestleMania match and thus the writers worked out a reunion with his former Shield teammates.

Though the reunion has helped the Superstars and The Shield appear to be stronger than ever, they are all huge individual stars and WWE would like them to compete in singles matches at the grandest stage of them all. Rollins and Ambrose failed to regain tag team titles this past week on Raw and it appears the split could happen soon.

John Cena's feud with Roman Reigns and their match at No Mercy were amazing and it seems to have benefited Reigns a lot, who now appears to be over with the fans.

Just like his Shield partner, Seth Rollins could be an ideal opponent for John Cena and a possible storyline involving a heel turn for Rollins in the road to WrestleMania could help him return to the main event picture and headline major events in the future.
