The next stop on the Road To Wrestlemania for the Raw brand, after the Royal Rumble, will be the Elimination Chamber event. It might be early, but here are our predictions for the full card.
#5 The Balor Club (Gallows & Anderson) vs. Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan - Raw Tag Team Championships
Provided that Rollins and Jordan can make it past The Bar at the Royal Rumble, some new contenders will have to step up to the plate.
Although Rollins is now with Jordan, it feels like he has been at war with the Bar forever. Based on previous events, it looks like Gallows and Anderson are going to be pushed up the card, and these two have had a few confrontations on Raw recently.
This could be a great match. Also, I would not put it past the WWE to shove the Revival in and make this a 3-way, but as things stand this looks like the way it will go.
#4 Elimination Chamber Match - Asuka vs. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville vs. Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss - Raw Women's Championship
The women in WWE have now competed in almost every match type you would usually associate the men with. Every match except of course, the Elimination Chamber.
Expect the WWE to carry on this history-making trend and put on the first match of its kind. The Raw roster more than has the talent to pull it off.
There is also the added dynamic of alliances, as Absolution and also Bliss and Jax will probably work together. Another good thing is it would be really hard to pick a winner and the WWE is best when it is unpredictable.
#3 Triple H vs. Braun Strowman
The seeds for this were planted at Survivor Series, and with Braun Strowman defying authority weekly on Raw, someone will have to step up to the ''Monster Among Men''
With Creative seemingly pushing ahead with Triple H taking on Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania, it seems like the stars are aligned for this to happen at Elimination Chamber. Perhaps ''The Game'' can screw over Braun in the title match at Royal Rumble to really solidify the Feud.
Also, once again it will be hard to pick a winner as the WWE will want to give both guys a big push heading into Wrestlemania season.
#2 Bray Wyatt vs. 'Woken' Matt Hardy - At the Hardy/Wyatt Compounds
Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt have both declared themselves as entries in the 2018 Rumble match. With the card also being stacked it looks like we will have to wait for these two to go one on one.
Well, that wait could be over at the Elimination Chamber. After the ill-received House of Horrors match between Orton and Wyatt, Creative would probably like a chance to put on a better show.
Also, Matt has proved he can put on a great show in these kind of spectacles, and perhaps this match can take up a few segments, travelling from one compound to the other. Unlike with Orton, this sort of clash would fit both characters well and would really give Matt a chance to shine if he is given creative control.
#1 Elimination Chamber - Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. The Miz vs. Elias vs. John Cena vs. Kurt Angle - Winner challenges Lesnar at Wrestlemania
This could be a star studded affair that really sets up shop for Wrestlemania.
One thing I would like to start with is, I think that Kurt is only involved if Samoa Joe is injured. If Joe is fit, expect him to take that spot.
Reigns vs. Lesnar is pretty much a certainty for Mania. What better way to set up the 'Big Dog' for that clash, then to have him overcome a star studded Chamber match, featuring the best of the best.
Also, The Undertaker could interfere and screw over Cena setting up the anticipated clash between them at Wrestlemania. It also gives Elias a chance to shine amongst some massive superstars. It keeps Balor and The Miz relevant as well and can plant the seeds for a clash between the two for the IC title at Wrestlemania.
