If it wasn't clear before, it definitely is now. Nia Jax is undoubtedly a heel figure, more because of the injury which she caused Rousey rather than any other reason.

This was made even more clear at Survivor Series where Jax practically got booed throughout the entire match and received a lot of negative reaction from the WWE Universe after she caused Lynch to miss the event due to injury.

The WWE have been quick to act on this and have used the injury of Lynch to position Jax as an unstoppable wrecking machine. This was apparent during Survivor Series where Jax dispatched everyone who came her way with ease, including Asuka.

Jax would then go on to become the sole survivor, which was done to emphasise her sheer dominance and physicality, especially in the light of the injury she caused Lynch.
