After WCW went out of business, Goldberg making his debut in WWE was a big deal. Goldberg was built up as a monster back in WCW and everyone expected him to be treated just like that when he came around to WWE. Vince McMahon did book him similarly, but there was a certain segment involving Goldberg and Goldust that made all of us cringe.
During a backstage interaction, Goldust gave Goldberg a wig to hide his baldness. Goldberg, who was built up as this scary monster, instead of destroying Goldust, simply wore the wig and smiled like an idiot. It was something that hurt the character and made Goldberg literally look like a cartoon.
