3. 'Thanos' from 619!
The Titan Thanos already got a huge shout out from Seth Rollins at Summerslam last year, yet Rey Mysterio had at one point been the go-to guy with elaborate costumes paying homage to blockbuster pop culture icons of the times. While not a featured aspect of the Avengers Endgame marketing, Thanos is the big bad of the Marvel Cinematic Universe saga and his presence in pop culture as the big purple guy is huge.
With the next Avengers film set to release pretty soon, paying tribute with a gold-armored suit and even a purple face paint job; Rey Mysterio could make a blockbuster return to the hallowed grounds of 'Mania. Being as it is his first WrestleMania since 2014, Mysterio may want to pay back to his past in the company too.
Yet it wouldn't be fun without a callback to the big thing of the moment, and Thanos is just the perfect cosmic deity to latch onto. Plus this way Rey can show the young upstarts how it's really done, including Seth Rollins who has since taken up the ball with flash hero entrances. In fact, go all the way and add a power-wielding gauntlet to help bring down the real big bad in Samoa Joe.
