If there's anyone who feels that Rusev will knock AJ Styles out at Extreme Rules and win the WWE Championship is surely being manipulated.

The Phenomenal One is enjoying a solid run with the title. However, a strong opponent in Samoa Joe could be awaiting his presence at the biggest party of the summer.

While the Samoan Submission Machine made his intentions clear to Styles early, there's been no significant tease as of late to confirm the bout is happening.

SummerSlam 2018 feels like the right time to kick-start this feud and could result in a career-defining clash between the two on the blue brand.

Both the superstars have been clashing at live events which only justifies that a solid feud is on the way.

Joe needs a credible feud and facing the WWE Champion would catapult him to the top of the food chain and assist him in ruling SmackDown Live.
