Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles moving to RAW has left no current challengers for WWE's Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn returned to WWE programming after a five-month hiatus and became the undisputed Intercontinental Champion in a ladder match in Clash of Champions.

Sami Zayn has been a perfect sneaky heel and can go to any lengths to keep the Intercontinental Championship around his waist. But his old friend was drafted to SmackDown and may pose a challenge.

Kevin Owens, on the other hand, has faced a slight slump since Wrestlemania. After overcoming Seth Rollins at The Grandest Stage of them All, Kevin Owens has not had any solid feuds. Despite current nemesis Aleister Black being drafted to SmackDown, Kevin Owens has pinned him clean on three separate occasions. The feud seems to be nearing its end.

Watching Kevin Owens attempt to pry the Intercontinental title from Sami Zayn will make for an intriguing feud. Throw in the fact that the duo is renowned for having legendary in-ring chemistry, and WWE has the potential to book the best feud of 2020.
