5 Factions WWE should form in order to shake things up in 2019

The Club could change WWE forever in 2019
The Club could change WWE forever in 2019

WWE has well and truly entered a new era ever since The McMahon Family made their groundbreaking announcement a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw

Over the past several weeks, we have been witnessing a drastic change in WWE content as it appears that the biggest wrestling company in the world is shifting gears and focusing on making their content a whole lot edgier, something which definitely reminds us of The Attitude Era.

Last week on Raw, we witnessed a stagehand finding Alexa Bliss in a state of undress and the very next night on SmackDown Live, Mandy Rose invited Jimmy Uso to her hotel room for another explicit segment.

Not only is WWE seemingly focusing on an edgier product (which is definitely a minor throwback to The Attitude Era, if I haven't mentioned that already) but the company has also been pushing new superstars who somewhat haven't had the chance of shining through the entirety of 2018.

The likes of Andrade, who defeated Rey Mysterio this week on SmackDown, Finn Balor, who is now the #1 contender for the Universal Championship, Drew McIntyre, who could very well be Mr. McMahon's big protege, 'The New' Daniel Bryan, and SmackDown Women's Champion, Asuka have all contributed massively in making sure that WWE has well and truly shifted gears in 2019.

With the company moving forward with singles stars in terms of both male and female Superstars, I think it'll be only fair if WWE gives the fair amount of opportunities to factions. After all, factions and stables are by far the coolest part of Professional Wrestling and with the main roster not having any proper factions, I think it is about time WWE comes up with a few stables.

Here are 5 potential factions that I decided to come up with and I truly feel that any one of these following groups will surely shake things up for WWE in 2019.

#5 The MMA Four Horsewomen

The Four Horsewomen of MMA

With Ronda Rousey dominating the Raw Women's Division and Shayna Baszler playing her part equally well over on the NXT roster, I feel that it is just a matter of time before we finally see the highly awaited reunion of the MMA Four Horsewomen on the main roster.

Rousey and Baszler are currently both champions of their respective brands and with 'The Queen of Spades' currently having the proper back-up of Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir over on NXT, things could perfectly fall in place for the Four Horsewomen once they are called up to the main roster.

With WWE recently unveiling the Women's Tag Team Titles, there is surely no doubt that both Duke and Shafir would love to hold those titles at some point down the line, whereas, both Baszler and Rousey would look to continue to dominate as singles stars.

Members: Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir.

#4 The Boss Club

Being a four-time Raw Women's Champion, Sasha Banks could very well be on the verge of making history as 'The Boss' aims to become a five-time champion at this year's Royal Rumble pay-per-view when she finally challenges Ronda Rousey for the title.

Now that WWE is planning on going all in with the women's division by finally unveiling the women's tag titles, they just might well create another faction for the women's division and what better way than to form The Boss Club which could go head-to-head against the MMA Four Horsewomen?

Fans have been eagerly waiting to witness a feud between the two Four Horsewomen factions, however, with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch still pretty much on each other's bad side, that idea could be put to bed for a while now.

For now, why don't we just enjoy a feud between The Boss Club and The Four Horsewomen? With Sasha Banks and Bayley aiming to capture the Women's Tag Titles as well, it'll be fair if two other women from NXT join the dynamic duo in the near future and to me, Bianca Belair and Mia Yim seem like the perfect call-ups who could join forces with Banks, Bayley, and Ember Moon, who could turn out to be another solid asset for the faction as well.

Members: Sasha Banks, Bayley, Bianca Belair, Ember Moon, and Mia Yim.

#3 Latin World Order

Rey Mysterio has admitted that he wants to form the LWO in WWE

Former WWE World Champion, Rey Mysterio made a triumphant return to the WWE and since then has been on absolute fire, putting on great matches as expected and 'The Master of the 619' is obviously loved by everyone.

However, since his return to the WWE, something has been definitely missing about Mysterio's aura and in order to shake things up, a heel turn would be beyond perfect I feel. Last week on SmackDown Live, Mysterio had one of the best matches of 2019 when he faced-off against Andrade and this week the two men will collide in a 2-out-of-3 falls rematch.

With Mysterio turning heel, not only could he showcase his darker side but could also take Andrade under his wing as well.

And in order to add ruthlessness to the faction, let the Lucha House Party and Sin Cara join the faction.

Kalisto, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado could very well portray their tremendous high flying skills and not annoy the WWE Universe with their annoying Lucha House Rules and having Sin Cara could also help the masked high flier in revitalising his career. Meanwhile, Zelina Vega could be the mouthpiece of the faction.

Hopefully, the faction is Tranquilo enough!

Members: Rey Mysterio, Andrade, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado and Zelina Vega.

#2 Ironstand

Lashley and Rush could form the next ruthless faction in WWE
Lashley and Rush could form the next ruthless faction in WWE

For years, New Japan Pro Wrestling has shown a lot of faith in their factions and one faction that stood out head and shoulders above the rest in their own unique style is non-other than Suzuki Gun.

Suzuki Gun was initially formed in 2011 by non-other than the menacing Minoru Suzuki, who alongside the likes of Taichi, Taka Michinoku, Takashi Sugiura, and Yoshihiro Takayama dominated the Land of The Rising Sun in promotions such as NJPW, NOAH, and even have made their mark on British territory as part of RevPro UK in recent months.

Much like NJPW, WWE also has all the right elements in the world to form a menacing and ruthless faction like Suzuki Gun. A group of bloodthirsty hounds who would just show up and beat up everyone who dared to step in their path.

In order to successfully form this faction, WWE needs to make sure that they get a proper leader for the group and a proper mouthpiece as well and in order to do so, we could very well have Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush as the first two initial members of the group.

Now Lashley doesn't necessarily have to be the leader of the group but it's definitely good enough for a start.

Next, we could have AOP and Drake Maverick in the faction, Akam and Rezar are two of the scariest men in WWE today and having them as the group's only dominant tag team could work pretty well.

From there onwards, we could well and truly add more hard hitters to the group and therefore bringing in NXT's Kassius Ohno will benefit both the faction and Ohno as well.

And finally, adding Shelton Benjamin to the faction would do wonders for the group as well and maybe Benjamin could bring along someone like Aiden English from SmackDown Live to have him join the faction as well.

Also, I'm pretty sure WWE is capable of coming up with a better name than Ironstand!

Members: Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, Lio Rush, Akam, Rezar, Drake Maverick, and Aiden English

#1 The Club

Too Sweet!
Too Sweet!

The faction that everyone has been wanting to see!

Ever since AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson signed with the WWE in 2016, Pro Wrestling fans all around the globe have been patiently waiting to witness the three former Bullet Club members reuniting with former Universal Champion and the founder of the Bullet Club, Finn Balor.

Since Styles made the jump to WWE from NJPW, he initially formed The Club which obviously consisted of both Anderson and Gallows, however, after a solid run which lasted a few months, both Styles and The Good Brothers parted ways with 'The Phenomenal One' moving to SmackDown Live with Anderson and Gallows sticking to the red brand.

However, that apparently, wasn't the end of The Club, as in 2018, Finn Balor finally unveiled The Balor Club when he along finally joined forces with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. But, much like the last time, The Balor Club didn't even last a few months, as Anderson and Gallows were drafted to SmackDown and reformed The Club with AJ Styles once again!

All of this mess needs to be sorted out and it's only fair if Styles, Anderson, and Gallows finally align themselves with Finn Balor.

With Balor currently set to challenge 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the former Universal Champion definitely isn't the favorite heading into this fight, therefore, he would surely need a few extra pairs of hands in order to recapture the Universal Title.

If WWE indeed plans on changing the landscape of the company, then they better do it in style by having The Club reunite and have Finn Balor win the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble by defeating Brock Lesnar and kicking off a new era in a Too Sweet way!

Members: AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows
