Throughout her time on Total Divas, it was made clear that Renee Young was best friends with The Bella Twins. Even before Young was made one of the main cast members for the show, she would make cameo appearances because she would always be hanging out with The Bellas.
When Renee and Dead Ambrose officially joined the cast, Ambrose stated that he thought The Bella Twins were a bad influence on his wife, since she seemed to act differently around them.
Ambrose didn't remain in the cast for the show for very long since the former World Champion didn't enjoy having cameras following him around all day. He said that these made him feel uncomfortable since he was a very private person.
Renee Young has continued to appear on the show in cameos since she often takes holidays or is invited to parties that are thrown by The Bella Twins. Even though Nikki and Brie are no longer on WWE TV, Young and the WWE Hall of Famers have remained close friends.
