Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are close friends because they have come through the WWE process together.

Both women began their WWE careers when they auditioned for Tough Enough back in 2015. Deville was eliminated in the early stages of the show but was still signed to a WWE contract, whilst Rose was the female runner-up.

Following the show, winners Sara Lee and Josh Bredl were handed WWE contracts for a year, after which both stars were released. Lee went on to marry fellow WWE star Wesley Blake and the couple now have two children together.

Velveteen Dream was signed to WWE along with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. He became one of the biggest stars on NXT for a number of years before his release was announced last month.

Chelsea Green was later signed by WWE a few years after the competition but has since been released.

This means that Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are now the only surviving members of the Tough Enough cast from six years ago.
