This has been a matter of when and not if for some time now. Ever since it was announced that Bayley would be defending her SmackDown Women's Championship in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match that would also involve Sasha Banks, the relation between the two has tensed up a bit.
The events from last night's match are sure to strain the situation even further. Bayley caught Sasha with a running knee by accident and even deflected a Lacey Evans ambush that resulted in The Boss getting laid out by the Women's Right. Interestingly, Bayley was in no rush to help her friend either when Banks was getting pinned by Evans.
Sasha Banks ended up lending a helping hand to Bayley for the win but maybe now she's had enough. Maybe now, Banks sees the selfish side of her best friend.
As an added incentive, Banks has never won the SmackDown Women's Championship. All that's standing between her and becoming the second woman Grand Slam Champion in WWE history is Bayley. So it's likely that we'll see The Boss attack her friend next Friday. This is also likely to result in a face turn for Sasha Banks.
