5 fallouts from WWE Survivor Series 2019: Seth Rollins' future; popular Superstar to turn face, title shot for SmackDown tag team

WWE Survivor Series 2019 was thoroughly entertaining and lived up to the hype that was built over the last few weeks. NXT went away the victors in their debut showing at the PPV and added extra spice to the event.

The results and feuds on the show will possibly lead to a variety of storylines on all three brands - RAW, SmackDown and NXT, in the near future.

There were a few interesting things that happened at the show, from a budding rivalry on RAW, to a title match for a SmackDown title, as well as a popular babyface turning heel in the coming weeks.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 fallouts from WWE Survivor Series 2019:

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#1 Charlotte Flair and Asuka to begin rivalry after feuding in match

Charlotte Flair and Asuka represented Team RAW in the 5-on-5-on-5 Women's Survivor Series Triple Threat elimination match at the show, but the duo couldn't help their team to a win as NXT came out on top.

RAW, in fact, didn't even make it till the end as SmackDown's Sasha Banks was left to fend off against three NXT Superstars. This was mainly because of Asuka betraying her teammate Charlotte after an argument ensued between the two and Asuka sprayed the green mist on Charlotte's face.

This led to Charlotte being eliminated from the match, which was a big loss for RAW. We could possibly see the two feud on RAW as neither Superstar has an ongoing singles feud. There is also a possibility of Flair teaming up with a partner and taking on Asuka and Kairi Sane. She had partnered with Becky Lynch earlier and the two could join hands once again, to fight for the Women's Tag Team titles.

#2 Daniel Bryan turns babyface

The Yes movement could return
The Yes movement could return

Daniel Bryan, for a year, has been a heel on WWE television, having turned heel in his feud with AJ Styles in 2018. He went on to win the WWE Championship with the 'New Daniel Bryan' gimmick where he portrayed a person who was the 'planet's champion'.

He had an intense rivalry with Kofi Kingston, one that made Kofi's run to win the title off Bryan at WrestleMania 35, a great ride, and one of the most memorable storylines in recent years.

But, his heel persona seemed to be veering towards a babyface turn when he joined hands with Roman Reigns to feud with his former partner Erick Rowan. But, Bryan did not acknowledge the 'Yes' chants that fans desperately wanted him to embrace.

At Survivor Series, though, Bryan seemed to hint at a babyface turn, using the crowd's energy to try to defeat The Fiend, and bringing back the 'Yes' chants and the 'Yes' movement. We will know a little more about where Bryan's head is at on SmackDown this coming week.

#3 Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to get title chance

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, former RAW tag team champions, were in a match on the Survivor Series pre-show, as they took part in a 10-team interbrand tag team battle royal. They came out victorious after eliminating RAW's Street Profits last in the match.

Ziggler and Roode haven't had any serious feuds since their move to SmackDown in this year's WWE Draft, but things could change following Survivor Series.

The experienced duo could perhaps begin a feud with the current SmackDown tag team champions, The New Day, who have been feuding with The Revival on the blue brand. Following The Revival's tag team title rematch on SmackDown after their loss a few weeks ago, we could maybe see The New Day move on to feud with Ziggler and Roode in the next few weeks.

The tag team division needs different feuds and the potential one between The New Day and Ziggler and Roode could be good.

#4 Keith Lee to get a massive push

The 5-on-5-on-5 men's Survivor Series featuring all three brands for the very first time was one of the matches of the night. There was a mix of heavy-hitting, speed, agility, and good storytelling as well.

Roman Reigns got the win for Team SmackDown, but the man who stood out for a majority of fans was NXT's Keith Lee. Lee was the last surviving member from Team NXT and went head-to-head with RAW's Seth Rollins and SmackDown's Reigns.

Rollins was eliminated which left Reigns with Lee, and the two put on a brilliant end to the match. Lee got a huge ovation from the crowd as he had some breathtaking moves in his locker.

Lee looks set to get a big push, as recent reports suggested, and after the positive crowd reaction at Survivor Series, we could see him perhaps on RAW or SmackDown sometime in the future.

#5 Seth Rollins teases heel turn once again

At Survivor Series, Seth Rollins was RAW's captain, but it seemed like he no longer is loved by the fans. Rollins was booed, as has been the case over the last few weeks, which stems from the finish of Rollins' match with 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell.

He was the last man from the red brand in the men's Survivor Series elimination match, but it was quite obvious that he was the least liked Superstar despite being a babyface. It seems like this is the perfect time for WWE to turn the former Universal champion heel as he already has some heat with the WWE Universe.

Rollins' comments on social media and his outbursts have rubbed people the wrong way.

At Survivor Series, moments before he was eliminated, Rollins had this to say to the fans and Keith Lee "I built NXT and I'll burn it down". This is not something a babyface would say and probably hints at a future heel turn.
