The Raw after Survivor Series was lit on many levels and the packed crowd inside the Toyota Center in Houston Texas were quite vocal the entire night. There were more than a couple surprises for this excited crowd and they let it be known they had come to make their opinions heard.
Let's take a look at five fan chants you might have missed or not fully understood, but it doesn't make it any less incredible.
#1 I Bolieve
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
It's been a very long time since we heard a good "I Bolieve" chant, right? It's been long overdue as well. When Bo Dallas was first making his debut on the WWE main roster he proclaimed how he "Bolieved" and gave short inspirational messages that were poorly received in the process.
But that gimmick soon went away and Dallas moved on to other gimmicks like the Social Outcasts, "Bo-lieve in Bo", and now The Miztourage. But the Houston crowd was fully behind Dallas and when he put in two cents during Miz TV, the arena erupted into this old-school classic.
It really was great to hear a good 'I Bolieve' chant once again if only WWE could start booking Dallas and Curtis Axel a little stronger then crowds might chant that more often and it won't just be ironic from now on.
#2 You're a coward
Triple H came to Houston in order to wear a suit and present himself as an authority figure. But Braun Strowman came to Houston looking for a fight and he wanted one from The Game. The only problem was that WWE's COO didn't intend on fighting on Raw.
Instead, he chose to go a different path causing Braun Strowman to ask if he's a coward. Chants of "you're a coward" filled the arena making this a very real moment to kick off the show.
It's no wonder why Triple H would want to avoid tangling with "The Monster Among Men". But by the looks of things, it's bound to happen eventually.
#3 Miz is awesome
There probably has never been a Miz TV with so much heat on it before as when The Miz had Roman Reigns as his guest in Houston.
When The Shield made their way to he ring and a back and forth started between the A-Lister and The Hounds Of Justice, the Houston crowd broke into a huge "Miz is awesome" chant.
Roman Reigns even tried to call attention to the chant towards the heel by saying that's the first time they've ever heard a crowd chant that. It was a great moment for The Miz considering how awful it would be for him to lose his Intercontinental Championship later in the night.
#4 Let's go Astros
Elias will bring a crowd to chant a lot of different things. As "The Drifter" played away for the Houston crowd he couldn't help but make a crack about the local sports team who just so happens to be recent World Series Champions.
Chants of "let's go Astros" filled the arena causing Elias to tell the crowd to calm down because the season is over.
The crowd loved it and hated it at the same time which in all reality is the best way to take "The Drifter".
#5 Welcome back
When a member of the WWE roster returns after being gone for as long as Paige was away from the company it should be a big deal when they return. But when Paige came back on the Raw after Survivor Series she certainly made it a big deal.
Even before Paige made everyone remember her debut for being a huge moment for Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, the crowd was welcoming "The Anti Diva" back.
"Welcome back" chants were thick when Paige appeared on the entrance ramp but soon diminished when fans realized she had a greater reason for appearing on Raw. It was certainly a great way to make another first impression, that's for sure.
