#5 Team Angle 2.0

Team A
Kurt Angle could mentor Chad Gable as well as Jason Jordan

When it was announced that Kurt Angle would be returning to WWE, fantasy bookers around the world began aligning the Gold medallist with fellow Olympian Chad Gable and his American Alpha tag partner Jason Jordan.

As it turned out, he was eventually put together with Jordan (his biological son! Who knew?!) but not with Gable, who has since formed a new tag team on SmackDown Live with the returning Shelton Benjamin.

Viewers of WWE’s Ruthless Aggression era will fondly remember the days of Benjamin and Charlie Haas doing Kurt’s dirty work for him during his epic rivalry over the WWE title with Brock Lesnar, so why not revisit that story after the next Superstar Shake-up?

A reunion between two-thirds of the group known as Team Angle, with Gable and Jordan added to it, would see four of WWE’s best technical wrestlers come together to form a wrestling super-faction, the likes of which we wouldn’t have seen since the Hart Foundation.
