Longtime WWE fans who were around in the mid-90s might remember Madusa as Alundra Blayze. She is best known for throwing the WWE Women's title belt in the trash can, when she showed up unexpectedly on WCW Monday Nitro on December 18, 1995. Madusa later stated that she regretted her actions and wouldn't have done it if she hadn't been coerced by Eric Bischoff.
At Starrcade 1999, Madusa met Evan Karagias for the latter's WCW Cruiserweight title. Spice, who was on Karagias' side, hit him with a low blow during the match, leading to Madusa pinning him and winning the Cruiserweight title. Thus, Madusa became the first-ever female to win the belt. Soon after, Madusa kicked off a rivalry with Oklahoma, a character that was created to take a shot at WWE announcer Jim Ross. On January 16, 2000, Madusa faced Oklahoma with the WCW Cruiserweight title on the line. Oklahoma ended up defeating Madusa to win the belt. This was the only title belt that Oklahoma won during his short-lived WCW stint.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
