AJ Lee was easily one of the most popular female wrestlers when she was working for WWE, and definitely one of the most outspoken.

Lee retired from WWE back in 2015 and there were reports that at the time she had a lot of heat from other female wrestlers. Before Lee made her return to the company and went on to wrestle at WrestleMania that year, she sent a Tweet to WWE CBO Stephanie McMahon regarding the pay for women and how it's not equal to the men.

McMahon was reportedly furious about the Tweet but Vince McMahon stepped in and stated that a public argument wouldn't put the company in a good light. McMahon then went on to thank AJ in a Tweet instead, but it's obvious that Lee and Stephanie didn't see eye to eye from then on.

Lee isn't the only female wrestler to have heat with McMahon either since Kaitlyn reportedly interupted The Boss's daughter backstage when she was working for the company and Stephanie then went on to shout at her for it live on TV.
