#1 WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns
Too soon? Maybe. A short-term WWE feud? Definite possibility.
While no one expects Dominik Mysterio to be a credible threat to the Universal Champion so early into his career, there are a few indicators that he may stand up to Roman Reigns, at least for a bit.

Firstly, Dominik Mysterio himself has publicly stated that he would like to square off against the Big Dog:
“I would love to wrestle Roman (Reigns). I think that would be fun as well. But there’s so many guys in NXT like Adam Cole. Guys like, you know, Austin Theory. There’s so many people I would like to work with but you know, we’ll see what the future holds.”
Roman Reigns is also currently embroiled in a feud with his cousin Jey Uso. Ever since his return, Roman Reign's storyline has been heavily influenced by familial ties. Roman Reigns mercilessly destroyed Jey Uso during Clash of Champions and will again look to beat some sense into his cousin in an 'I Quit' match inside Hell in a Cell at the namesake pay-per-view.
Roman Reigns has gathered substantial heat and WWE would like to keep that momentum going. What better way than to destroy another family's holiday season as well, maybe the Mysterios?
Add the fact that Roman Reigns is likely to get his own heel stable in the near future, and there can be a clash of clans between two decorated families of WWE.
Roman Reigns may destroy the newcomer, but the feud will fuel the heat towards Roman and give Dominik Mysterio a share of the spotlight. A win-win situation for everyone involved.
