#1 Nikki Cross vs. Carmella

Nikki Cross could engage in a heated rivalry with Carmella, extending well after WrestleMania 35

As noted, Cross would face Naomi at the Fastlane PPV which shall probably transpire in March of next year -- in a singles matchup wherein she'll likely dominate and defeat Naomi. Following which, Cross must then commence a feud with yet another former SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella.

Granted that certain sections of fans time and again criticize Carmella, claiming that she "can't wrestle", however, her supporters conversely point out how amazing The Princess of Staten Island is in the promo department! Well, Carmella -- who found tremendous success as a heel all through 2017 and 2018 -- recently turned face, changed her hair color, and has been involved in nothing more than "dance break" segments with her Mixed Match Challenge (MMC) tag team partner R-Truth.

However, with that being said, Carmella has the gift of gab -- being blessed with the innate ability of talking her way out of anything and everything. Rest assured, 'Mella will be back in the SmackDown Live title picture, or at the very least in a prominent feud, sooner rather than later.

Carmella being a natural heel, her run as a babyface isn't likely to last too long, and once she gets back to her villainous ways, Nikki Cross will be waiting in the wings to hunt her down! Cross is a fantastic on-screen character, and so is Carmella -- the former being a demented destroyer, and the latter being an expert at playing the role of a cunning heel.

After Cross defeats Naomi at Fastlane in March, the SAnitY powerhouse could then engage in a feud against Carmella, which would see Cross go toe-to-toe with Carmella at WrestleMania 35 which takes place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 7th, 2019.

Moreover, I'd like to note that the WWE could potentially choose to extend the Cross vs. Carmella rivalry, and have them continue their battles well after WrestleMania 35.
