Over the last two weeks on WWE television, a mystery attacker has tried to injure and inflict damage on Roman Reigns, first with the use of a forklift to push backstage equipment on him; followed by an attack on him while he was exiting his car.

We learnt at the end of last week's SmackDown Live show that the attacker was Rowan, who could have possibly done this on Daniel Bryan's behalf. Over the last few weeks, Daniel Bryan said that he was about to drop a "career-altering announcement", which could very well be that he wants to destroy Reigns' WWE career.

Bryan, Rowan and Reigns were not on SummerSlam, although Rowan did attack Buddy Murphy on the pre-show of SummerSlam during Murphy's match against Apollo Crews. Murphy was the one who revealed to Reigns on SmackDown that Rowan attacked The Big Dog, which resulted in Rowan attacking Murphy as retribution on the SummerSlam pre-show.

We could perhaps see Reigns attacking Bryan and Rowan, and beginning a feud with Bryan on SmackDown television this coming week. Reigns and Bryan's last singles match against each other was back at Fastlane in 2015 when Reigns defeated Bryan to become the No. 1 contender to the WWE Championship.
