WWE's Survivor Series PPV, the penultimate PPV of 2019, was an entertaining show, as NXT's addition added an edge to the matches.
This was perhaps one of the best PPVs of 2019, despite there being no title change. But, there were several Superstars whose stock may have risen by quite a bit following the show.
NXT, in their first time at Survivor Series, won the overall title, defeating RAW and SmackDown by 4 wins to 1 and 2, respectively. RAW had a miserable night and couldn't repeat their incredible win from last year.
During the show, WWE laid out small hints at new feuds that could begin on the three brands in the coming weeks and months.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Let's take a look at 5 feuds that could start after WWE Survivor Series 2019:
#5 Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to battle against The New Day
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, who became a tag team earlier this year on RAW and went on to win the RAW Tag Team titles, have not had a memorable last two months.
The duo were moved to SmackDown during the WWE Draft earlier this year, but haven't quite made a mark on the blue brand so far. This could probably change in the weeks to come following their win at Survivor Series.
Ziggler and Roode were involved in a 10-team interbrand tag team battle royal on the pre-show of Survivor Series, and they came out trumps in that match. The former RAW Tag Team champions could battle for the SmackDown Tag Team titles, which are currently held by The New Day.
The New Day's feud with The Revival could come to an end soon, and we could very well see Ziggler and Roode try to win the blue brand's tag team titles.
#4 Charlotte Flair and Asuka to battle it out
Charlotte Flair and Asuka were on the same team at Survivor Series as the duo represented Team RAW, but it didn't go as planned for the red brand.
The former SmackDown Women's champions had a falling out during the match. Asuka then sprayed green mist on Charlotte's face, which led to The Queen being blinded and then eliminated.
Flair and Asuka battled it out recently on RAW, but it was in a tag team match where Flair teamed up with Becky Lynch and faced the Kabuki Warriors.
This feud is not going to end anytime soon as Charlotte may not fight for the RAW Women's title anytime soon as we've seen the Flair-Lynch feud several times.
Reports had suggested that Flair and Lynch would team up together to challenge for the Kabuki Warriors' Women's Tag Team titles at TLC, which could be where this feud is heading in the weeks to come.
#3 Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens
Seth Rollins was the RAW men's team captain for Survivor Series but couldn't help the RAW brand get the win. He was one of the last three Superstars in the match, alongside SmackDown's Roman Reigns and NXT's Keith Lee.
Rollins was unsure about one of his teammates ahead of the match. He was seen speaking with Kevin Owens before the match as the former Universal champion was worried that Owens could side with NXT during the match.
Owens had fought at NXT Takeover: WarGames a day before Survivor Series for Team Ciampa. Owens said that he wanted to get back at Undisputed Era and that he will be loyal to RAW and that the red brand needs him more than NXT, which was probably a slight at Rollins.
There seems to be some tension between the two RAW Superstars and we could see them feud in the near future as neither Superstar has a solid feud going on at the moment.
#4 Keith Lee vs Braun Strowman
Keith Lee was undoubtedly the star of the men's Survivor Series match and possibly even the entire night. Lee is perhaps one of the most agile and quick big men in WWE, and showcased what he's truly capable of to those who haven't followed him, at Survivor Series.
Lee was one of the last two men in the match, alongside Roman Reigns, who eventually went on to win the match for Team SmackDown. But, Lee earned the respect of Reigns who offered him a fist bump at the end of the match.
Reports have indicated that Vince McMahon likes Lee and that he could get a push soon on WWE television. Leading up to Survivor Series, in one of the many brawls before the PPV, we saw Keith Lee and Braun Strowman - two behemoths - go eye-to-eye, and they had a brief segment during the Survivor Series match as well.
We could possibly see a feud between the two happenings sometime down the line. With Strowman on SmackDown and Lee on NXT, it may be difficult for them to have an intense storyline, but we could probably see it happening before WrestleMania 36.
#1 Brock Lesnar vs Dominick
Another storyline that could happen sometime next year is that of Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio's son, Dominick. Dominick, who was assaulted by Lesnar a few weeks ago, following which the current WWE Champion feuded with Cain Velasquez and then Dominick's father, Rey Mysterio.
Dominick was involved in the WWE Championship match between Mysterio and Lesnar as he came to the ring with a towel, perhaps hinting at "throwing in the towel" on behalf of his father.
He then low-blowed Lesnar, following which he and Mysterio landed a 619 on the WWE Champion, and then Dominick finished with a frog splash. But it wasn't enough for Lesnar to be defeated.
It's quite clear that WWE want to see Dominick in the ring, with reports suggesting that he has been training at the WWE Performance Center. We could see a match between Lesnar and Dominick sometime in the future, perhaps in 2020, when the younger Mysterio has learnt the trade a little better.
