Whilst it's easy to imagine that WWE official Sonya Deville could use Lita as her pawn. It's also likely that she could go straight to the source.

Deville was able to prevent her from being a member of the Survivor Series team and this could be her ingenious idea to take her out of the Rumble.
The WWE Hall of Famer is one of the best female wrestlers in history and is a four-time Women's Champion. If Deville convinced the former Women's Champion to be part of this week's episode of SmackDown to help ensure that Naomi isn't a problem at the Rumble, then this could be an interesting episode.
It's been almost three years since the WWE Universe has seen the legend wrestle and if she can take on Naomi this week on SmackDown, then it would be a fantastic way for the company to preview the Women's Royal Rumble.
