The WWE Champion taking on the Olympian could be an amazing feud in 2019.

We are only just ten days into 2019, but what an incredible week and a half it has already been.

We've seen the shocking return of Hulk Hogan, The Man Becky Lynch go face to face with John Cena, and plenty of names being added to the upcoming Royal Rumble matches.

But despite all this excitement, we've barely scratched the surface of 2019, and the WWE Universe have plenty to get ready for in the coming year.

With the WWE continuing to expand its NXT brand, fans from across the world can get prepared for WWE to bring their own unique brand of Sports Entertainment to the world, despite competition from Impact, New Japan, and the recently formed All Elite Wrestling.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Here are five feuds the WWE Universe would love to see at some point in 2019.

#5 Seth Rollins Vs. Brock Lesnar

Brock and Rollins have a history after Rollins won the WWE World Championship at WrestleMania 31.

This one is a feud many are clamoring for and is reportedly in the works in the coming weeks.

Rollins is rumored to be winning the Men's Royal Rumble, which would give him a guaranteed shot at either the WWE or Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Arguably the most vocal Superstar to comment on the Universal Champion's sporadic appearances, it makes sense for Rollins to challenge Lesnar at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The pair certainly have history, with the Architect being the one to dethrone the Beast at WrestleMania 31, thanks to the Money in the Bank contract. Now a fully-fledged face, it will be interesting to see how the Kingslayer fares against the Beast, if the WWE decides to have the pair face off at WrestleMania.

#4 Shane McMahon Vs. A World Champion

Best in the World, Shane McMahon.
Best in the World, Shane McMahon.

Shane McMahon is possibly the most-loved of all the McMahon clan, and is certainly more accepted by the fans than his father Vince, or daughter Stephanie.

But there have been rare instances of Shane-O-Mac teasing a heel turn, most recently with his victory of the Best in the World trophy at Crown Jewel.

If the WWE were willing, the company could push the button on McMahon, turning him a fully-fledged heel with the power to book himself in title matches.

With power over the referees, outside interference and even timekeeper, McMahon definitely has the means to become World Champion, if the WWE want to go down this route.

The issue here is that McMahon's history of entertaining the crowd makes it very difficult to boo him, even if he was to try to elicit such a reaction.

#3 Ronda Rousey Vs. Becky Lynch

Another feud that has already been rumored, 2018 was definitely a turning year for Becky Lynch.

A natural babyface with no direction at the start of the year, Lynch developed a mean-streak over the summer, turning her into one of WWE's most popular stars, and the rumored opponent for the RAW Women's Champion at WrestleMania 35.

There are some roadblocks to this though, namely that Lynch is already scheduled to face Asuka at the Royal Rumble for the Empress' SmackDown Women's Championship.

However, if she was to lose, there is the possibility of Lynch entering the Women's Rumble, and if she were to win, would define her as a true fighter in WWE.

From there, Lynch would need to jump to Monday Night RAW to challenge Ronda Rousey, which would be great for the red brand, but would definitely leave a whole in team blue.

#2 Daniel Bryan Vs. Kurt Angle

Bryan Vs. Angle is a dream match.
Bryan Vs. Angle is a dream match.

Ever since turning heel in November last year, Daniel Bryan has done a complete 180, badmouthing every fan he sees. What makes it hard to bet against the WWE Champion though, is Bryan's in-ring skill, and mastery over submissions.

Enter Kurt Angle, a technical wizard in his own right, who could match-up to Bryan.

A feud between the two is nothing short of a dream match, as the pair could have highly entertaining matches and incredible promos.

I'm not saying that Angle should be the one to relieve the former Yes! Man of the title, though the Olympian has said he hopes to win one more World Championship in WWE.

If the WWE were to have Angle win, expect some very emotional scenes and whilst a 2019 Angle title reign may not last long, it'd certainly be worth seeing.

#1 The Undisputed Era Vs. Everyone

The Undisputed Era has been one of the most entertaining parts of NXT in 2018.
The Undisputed Era has been one of the most entertaining parts of NXT in 2018.

Arguably the most exciting part of NXT in 2018, the Undisputed Era have dominated over the developmental brand.

Together, the team of Roderick Strong, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly have been truly excellent together, and are expected to be moving to the main roster in the coming year.

The question now is, who will the team face, and since it shouldn't be just anyone, it should instead be everyone!

Much like the Nexus, the quartet could make huge waves and establish themselves overnight if they were to stick it to the main roster during their debut.

Whilst the company had some questionable booking of the Nexus in 2010, hopefully, the WWE will have learned from their mistakes and give the Undisputed Era the feud they need in 2019.
