#2. Dexter Lumis gets involved to help AJ Styles win on WWE NXT 2.0

Apart from Tommaso Ciampa, Dexter Lumis could have come out to help Johnny Gargano on his farewell night on WWE NXT 2.0. Lumis had suffered a hand injury at the hands of Carmello Hayes and Trick Williams a couple of weeks before Gargano’s retirement.

The Tortured Artist did make a return to scare Williams and Hayes away. However, he hasn't confronted the man who attacked his on-screen father-in-law.

WWE could change all that on the upcoming episode. Lumis desperately needs to get into a new rivalry to stay relevant on the brand. He hasn't had a meaningful feud for some time now.

He could show up on the show and distract Waller long enough for AJ Styles to pick up the win. The angle will help Styles walk out of NXT with a victory. He's a top WWE Superstar who needs to be protected on the developmental brand. Meanwhile, it will allow NXT to begin a new rivalry between Lumis and Waller.
