As good as John Morrison and The Miz are as a unit, they can do even better on their own. Especially John Morrison, who has lived in The Miz's shadow since his return to the company. Sometimes, an act can go stale unless the company takes active steps to refresh and revitalize it.
This is exactly why Vince McMahon may book a miscue between John Morrison and The Miz during the match, leading to one of them leaving the ring and walking to the backstage area. One more possibility. On the way out, maybe John Morrison punches The Miz, leaving him in a crumpled heap in the ring.
Whatever the case may be, both John Morrison and The Miz could have fresh starts after WrestleMania where each of them goes their separate ways.
While it's not a given, John Morrison is the most likely candidate to go babyface, while The Miz always does his best work when he is portrayed as a sly, conniving, sneaky heel.
