Charles Wright is a WWE Hall of Famer, who is known for his two notable runs in WWE as Papa Shango and The Godfather. He was also a part of The Nation of Domination and was dubbed at the time as Kama Mustafa. Wright's most memorable moment during his run as Papa Shango came in the main event of WrestleMania 8, where he interfered in the match between Hulk Hogan and Sid Justice. In an amusing bit, Shango missed his cue to interfere and reached the ring late. The ending saw Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior standing tall in the end after fending off the villains.

Soon after The Nation of Domination split up, Wright donned the gimmick of The Godfather. The character used to come out surrounded by a bunch of girls, including future Hall of Famer Lita. On the April 12, 1999 edition of RAW, The Godfather defeated Goldust to win the coveted Intercontinental title. He lost the belt to Jeff Jarrett. He later won the Tag Team titles with Bull Buchanan.
